Summer Portraits of early-morning Yo

Usually people who see Yo for the first time are surprised by her vivid temper and subtle sense of humour.They ask me how I ever manage to make so many "serious" shots with her.Here is real Yo,not quite "in form",her eyes are still sick /some reaction to the strong sun these days/

Some test shots with my new Nikon SB 700

Not the best study ,since my model is still teething and is not in her best form...
Anyway,I think  it was successful,although I desperately need a model who can stay still a second more.
The test shots are taken between noon and one o'clock,the worst time for an outdoor shooting-however the direct light can be creatively used as rim lighting,separating subject from background,and flash favourably helped me even the contrast noon light.
